STAFF, pupils and parents said farewell to two popular members of staff at Lumphinnans Primary School.
Mrs Joyce Toddie, who served her last school dinners up after more than ten years as school cook, has left the village school.
Mrs Toddie will continue in the catering trade but will be working with the elderly instead of youngsters in future. Mrs Toddie can be seen surrounded by the children as she was presented with flowers and gifts.
Staff, pupils and parents also held a farewell assembly for Miss Jenny Smith, P.T. and P.7 teacher.
Miss Smith is leaving to be able to work much closer to home and says that she won’t have to worry about driving such a long way anymore.
The children shared their memories of her and sang a couple of farewell songs which left everyone with a tear in their eye. Miss Smith can be seen surrounded by the children as she was presented with flowers and gifts.
