Police have arrested a 33-year-old Lochgelly man in connection with vandalism at a pub in Cowdenbeath.

Three windows were smashed at the Glen Tavern in Foulford Road on 26th July.

The 33-year-old is expected to appear on a bail undertaking at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on 3rd September.

Area Chief Inspector Ross Bennet said, "Such wanton damage to any property within our community will be fully investigated by my staff. This particular case allegedly involved a man who quite deliberately went out of his way to damage the windows at this premises. The public can rest assured that dealing with antisocial behaviour such as vandalism is very much at the top of our agenda."
