Cowdenbeath's only supermarket will reopen as Morrisons on Monday.
The chain bought and promptly closed the Somerfield store in May.
A major refit is now complete and general manager, Martin Terris, will open Morrisons at 9am on Monday.
He said, "Over the past weeks, the team has been working night and day to ensure that customers enjoy shopping, Morrisons-style, from day one.
"Opening the doors and welcoming the shoppers of Cowdenbeath will be the reward for all the training and preparation."
The new store will include 'Market Street', a collection of individual fresh food shops, including a butcher, baker and fishmonger.

Was not impressed at all - maybe with it being so busy so will try later on in the month once things have quietened down. Butcher and Fishmonger seem to be about the only difference between Morrisons and Somerfield, Will stick to ASDA thanks.

Sorry not impressed at all, so little change for such a long closure & certainly no cheaper than Somerfield. However just grateful for the fact that the company wished to open here at all.But surely the time has come for another company to open as well & create some competition.
