A 33-YEAR-OLD Cowdenbeath man has admitted causing a disturbance at a take-away shop in Dunfermline town centre by hitting a female then vandalising a car.
Lee McBride, of Primmer Place, Cowdenbeath, pleaded by letter at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on 13th January at Masala Grill, Carnegie Drive, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing at Marie McKenzie, making threats of violence towards her and acting aggressively.
He also admitted assaulting Ms McKenzie by punching her on the head.
He further admitted that in Carnegie Drive he maliciously repeatedly threw a bin at a car, occupied by Ms McKenzie and caused extensive damage to it and alarm to her.
Sentence was deferred until 23rd May for McBride’s personal appearance.
