COWDENBEATH'S directors have taken the decision to clear what snow remains lying on Central Park to ensure that Saturday's match with Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Montrose goes ahead.
Said director David Allan: "As the 'Beast from the East' gradually subsides we have been able to review the situation at Central Park.
"There is a thaw on and if we could clear the pitch of snow on Thursday it would improve the chances of Saturday's match v Montrose going ahead and stop Cowden falling further behind in their fixtures.
"A start will be made on clearing the snow at 10am tomorrow so please, if you are able and available to help, come along and lend a hand - there are plenty snow shovels for volunteers and it would be greatly appreciated if fans could pitch in once more".
So get along if you can to Central Park in the forenoon.
