DESPITE every effort to clear the snow, conditions are still not safe for buses on some routes as schools re-open today and both local secondaries and a primary school will see routes altered.
Parents are asked to contact the fifedirect web address below to check which routes are affected.
Said a council spokesperson: "92% of the 220 bus services will run today, Tuesday, but some will run but with changes to the route and/or pick up points to enable safe passage.
"Schools affected are PRIMARY SCHOOLS: Anstruther, Balmerino, Blairhall, Buckhaven, Commercial, Crossgates, Donibristle, East Wemyss, Foulford, Limekilns, McLean, St Columba’s & Castlehill and St Margaret's.
"The secondary schools include Beath and Lochgelly High Schools.
"If your family uses a bus to one of these schools, please go to www.fifedirect.org.uk/schooltransport for information about which routes are impacted".
