THIS Sunday is a big day in the build-up to Cowdenbeath Civic Week 2018

Sunday March 11 sees the Little Fix concert at Beath High School when the Royal Party for civic week will be chosen.

The doors open at 13.00 and the show starts at 13.30 when the Little Mix tribute band take the stage

Tickets are priced at £6 and are available from three locations in Cowdenbeath, Hallmark, the Co-op and Beath Bargain Store

Said Civic Week Committee secretary Claire Morgan: "The Royal Party Draw winners will be picked by "Little Fix" at the concert.

"All schools have now received copies of the entry forms. If you haven't received a form but would like to enter for Queen, Princesses or Young Ambassador get in touch via Facebook, Twitter, civicweekenquiries@outlook.com or call 01383 512262.

To enter children must be P7+ and live in Cowdenbeath, Hill of Beath or Lumphinnans (not beyond the Bowling Club) and be available for Civic Week June June 9 to 16 for Civic Week and Gala Day."

It will be a big day for the Civic Week Committee and the young people who have entered the draw.

Meanwhile the Civic Week Committee's car boot sales are back at the Morrisons car park, 10am-2pm on the last Sunday of each month. £5 a pitch, contact Linda Calder to book. Get the 'spring' clean done and get down to Morrisons. All buyers and sellers welcome!
