IT was that time of year again – the time when Beath pupils come forward and show their kindness and generosity in order to give something back to their local community.
Register classes across the school collected food items and produced spectacular hampers that would rival Fortnum & Mason!
The hampers were then distributed to nominated elderly members of the community and a hardy group of senior pupils braved the frost and snow and delivered over 30 hampers to households in the Beath High School catchment area.
The pupils were met with warm welcomes, big smiles and plenty offers of cups of tea by the very appreciative hamper recipients.
It was great to see the Christmas spirit well and truly in action. In addition to the hampers, pupils also collected and donated approximately 150 items to the local food bank.
All the pupils and staff at Beath High School would like to wish everybody a very Happy New Year.
