COWDENBEATH Rotary Club's Christmas night for senior citizens saw a happy group enjoy some good entertainment.
A company of 40 people were entertained at Wee Jimmies by singer Kenny Lee Jones after a hearty Christmas meal.
During the evening secretary David Hunter informed members that the club had been contacted by the Joe Homan Trust to let them know that they now had a second youngster in India to sponsor for their education needs.
After spending 10 years sponsoring young Anakodi through to him becoming a mechanic, they now have a girl and boy under their wing.
David said: "The correspondence indicated that we now have a young lady to sponsor joining the lad Parthian we were allocated in the autumn.
"I have sent off the £215 payment to cover the first year of our sponsorship".
