THREE new members recruited over the past eight months and one pending has been an encouraging sign for Cowdenbeath Rotary Club but they are still looking for more.
Thursday's meeting heard that just over £15,000 had been given to good causes in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area over the past 12 months and to keep that momentum up they needed a strong membership.
Members convener, Alex Cuthbertson, said that while the club was still looking for traditional members there were plans to seek a corporate form of membership.
Said Alex: "2017 has been a decent year for recruitment with three new members aboard and we will have another coming aboard in the new year, but we have to look to get back up to around the 30 mark if we can.
"Corporate membership is a form that works in other parts of the country so we will be looking at if that could be a good avenue for us and it is another to try in 2018."
