HELEN Heggie has just celebrated 30 years working as a volunteer in the Cowdenbeath Cancer Research UK shop on High Street.
Helen was one of the first volunteers when CRUK came to the town and she has enjoyed playing her part in the success of the shop in raising many thousands of pounds each year for the fight against cancer.
The manager of the Cowdenbeath shop, Margaret Crawford Said: "Helen has volunteer in the shop since it opened 30 years ago, quite an achievement.
"She is a lovely person who gives her time to helping others.
"We took Helen and her friends from the shop out last Saturday night for a meal to celebrate the milestone and a good time was had by all!"
