A TEENAGER has been refused bail while he awaits sentencing.
Kiran Nelson, 18, of King Street, Cowdenbeath, previously admitted that on February 19, at Hope Street, Lumphinnans and in a police vehicle en route to Kirkcaldy police office, he did behave in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm in that he did shout, swear, kick the interior of a police vehicle and act in aggressive manner, he also did assault a constable then in the execution of his duty and did punch him on the head to his injury.
Nelson had failed to turn up at Court for sentencing on previous occasions.
Nelson will appear for sentencing on October 18.
