COWDENBEATH's Civic Week Committee has four new members following their annual general meeting.
After a tremendous Civic Week Parade in June the committee has been looking ahead and held had a very successful AGM.
Said committee secretary Clare Morgan: "We retained the 11 existing members and welcomed new people which we are absolutely delighted about.
"We appreciate not everyone wants to be on the committee so would still urge volunteers to come forward if they would still like to help at events."
She added: "We got straight down to business discussing our Autumn/Winter programme - the first events being the start up of this years choir rehearsals, then our Scottish Night followed by a Halloween party.
"And we also started the ball rolling about Christmas and we will be publishing the programme very soon!
"People and groups are already asking about next years gala theme an we'd just like to say we are working on it!!! 2018 is a BIG year for us as it's our 40th birthday so watch this space".
