THIS week's Down Memory Lane photographs come from Lochgelly local history enthusiast Derek Johnstone.
They show the derelict homes of Gray Park which was removed to allow the Mossmorran Petro-Chemical complex to be constructed.
The new Gray Park was built off Perth Road, in Cowdenbeath.
Said Derek: "Here are photos of the old Gray Park on the outskirts of Cowdenbeath which were knocked down in the mid 1980's I think."
The situation saw a whole village moved around four miles but it was successfully completed.
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
