HOLIDAY booked and wanting to get in better shape ? Cowden can help!

Cowdenbeath FC “Football Fans In Training” is starting its next programme in April and will help ladies make that change.

The Club has secured funding from the SPFL Trust to deliver its second women’s only FFIT programme beginning in April 2017.

Starting dates are as follows:  Tuesday April 18; and Tuesday July 11 8pm – 9.30pm at Broad Street Centre, Cowdenbeath.

The criteria: for women: age 35 – 65 and dress size 16 +.

Said the club's Tom Ewing: "Space on the programme is limited to 12 women so be sure to book early.

"Throughout the 13 weeks our qualified coaches will educate and encourage participants to make positive changes to their lifestyles, diet and physical activity with the overall goal being weight loss.

"Sessions will consist of an hour’s theory followed by a physical activity session which is gradually developed. However, this does not need to be football related and will be tailored to the needs of the group."

Since 2010 Football Fans in Training Programmes across Scotland have delivered successful outcomes to men and women, and every participant who managed to keep going for 13 weeks lost weight and made positive changes.
