COWDENBEATH face a hugely important fixture tonight as the club battles to get away from the danger zone in Ladbrokes League 2

And new manager Gary Locke hopes that his players can re-produce the form of Saturday that brought a much needed win at Berwick.

Promotion play-off Elgin City are the visitors to Central Park tonight and they have already beaten Cowden twice this season so it will be a tough tesat.

Said Mr Locke: "The performance at Berwick showed what sort of standard the team can reach but it was only one game and we need to produce that on a regular basis in the closing 10 games.

"Literally we have ten cup finals to play and while it is a difficult task we can do it.

"Elgin are one of the best teams in the division so it will be a very difficult game tonight but we have to look to get points from the match to build up momentum and confidence."

The manager has no injury problems and will probably settle for the team which started at Berwick with Fraser Mullen in the centre of midfield.

The game has a 7.45pm kick-off and the directors are hoping that the home fans will turn out in big numbers to shout the Blue Brazil on.
