PUPILS of the Beath Amnesty International Group have been very busy preparing support letters for their latest campaign.
Pupils have prepared support greeting cards and letters of appeal to help a young Egyptian photographer Mahmoud Abu Zeid (Shawkan) who has been imprisoned in Egypt since August 14 2014.
He was arrested for taking photographs at a sit-in protest in Cairo.
Shawkan is just one of the people the group are supporting this year as they try to make a difference in the world of Human Rights.
The group have an Action Plan for 2017 and will be working hard to support human rights causes and fundraise for Amnesty.
Their maxim is Beath Amnesty Group.............Together we can make a difference.........
