The candidates will be interviewed by an independent panel and the four lucky youngsters will then be named.

Meanwhile fundraising is ongoing for Gala Day 2017 by the Civic Week Committee and a key part of it is a charity show being held at Hill of Beath Ex-Servicemen's Club on Sunday April 30 2pm to 6pm.

Artistes given the services free of charge are Odette Clark, Ricky Wilde, Stevie Scott, Sammie Lee and Robbie Carran, and tickets at £5 bcan be purchsed from Hill of Beath Club, Hallmark Card Shop and Beath Bargain Centre.

Said the Civic Week's Committee's Alex Haddow: "This will be a great day's entertainment and if we get a full house then it will raise around £2000 for the gala funds."
