A PLANNING application has just been submitted to erect two wind turbines at Struthruddie Farm, between Cardenden and Kinglassie.
David Taylor, secretary of Cardenden Community Council, reported this week that these turbines would be much closer to the Woodend area of Cardenden than the present four on the Westfield site.
He said, “These will be close to the busy Westfield Road and it’s junction with the Kinglassie road. More and more wind turbines have been erected or being planned in the Central Fife belt and the cumulative effect of these needs to be considered, before our Community Council can make its response”.
