ONE of Denend Primary School’s longest servers retired on Friday and was given a big send-off at the Cardenden school’s end of term concert.
The Bowhill Centre hall was the venue for the event which also saw the school say goodbye to their Primary 7 pupils who will move into secondary education after the summer holidays.
Ann Raeburn served the Denend community in many roles over 25 years.
She started as a dinner lady before joining the office staff and then becoming part of the pupil support team.
Headteacher Lorna Palmer said, “Ann has been a dedicated member of the school staff for a very long time and she will be a hard act to follow and very much missed.”
