THE four candidates who will contest the Glenrothes constituency at the general election on 7th May have been confirmed.
Peter Grant is standing for the Scottish National Party (SNP), the Scottish Liberal Democrats are represented by Jane Ann Liston, Alex Stewart-Clark is the Scottish Conservative and Unionist candidate while the Scottish Labour Party have put forward Melanie Ward.
The Glenrothes constituency was created in 2005 and has been held by Labour ever since – Lindsay Roy has been in the seat since 2008.
Glenrothes is of particular interest to the Times as the constituency includes the communities of Auchterderran, Bowhill, Cardenden, Dundonald and Kinglassie.
Our editions of 22nd April, 29th April and 6th May will feature a general election forum including content from each of the four Glenrothes candidates.
Expect fierce debate and opinions on local issues that affect residents in Central Fife.
