THE planning application to demolish and convert the derelict toilet blocks in Bowhill into two shop units has been approved and it is hoped work will soon be underway.
Cardenden Community Council secretary David Taylor welcomed the news and said that the village Community Development Forum has expressed an interest in renting one of the units as a community charity shop, which would be good news for the village.
