CARDENDEN’S Community Bonfire is set to go ahead on Friday 7th November.
After some concern about the future of the fireworks display earlier in the year, the hardworking committee have been able to put together a package which has ensured that the 2014 event goes ahead.
But they will still need the local business community to help them.
Said committee chairman Alex Burns, “We are unable to collect wood locally but would welcome wooden pallets from any building firms and other companies who can deliver these to Wallsgreen Park in Bowhill between 9am and 3pm on Friday 7th.
“Any assistance we can get will be very much appreciated. Call 01592 583471.
The community bonfire and fireworks display will start at 7pm.
