A NEWBORN son has brought joy to a Cardenden family, which now spans across an incredible five generations.
Harris Jenks is just over four weeks old, born on August 12th, and has become the newest member of the large family.
His great-great grandmother, Mary Wylie, is the oldest of the family at 91, and he has also been welcomed by great-gran Ann Page (68), gran Carol-Ann Kirk (46) and proud mum Louise Brawley (23).
Ann, of Carden Castle Park, said, “It’s nice to have a great-grandson. We’ve had my mum (Mary) living with us for 32 years now and it was nice to have everyone round. It was lovely.
“You don’t often get a five generation family, so it’s special. They all come around on a Thursday for tea so it gets quite busy now!”
