THE T2TT team has had a massive boost from Cardenden Co-op.

The Tots2TeensTogs is a charity which ensures local families in the Cardenden area have access to good quality clothing.

Indeed, over the past seven or eight months they have taken their fine initiative to other communities in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area.

Vi Penman and Nicola Wilson were over the moon with the efforts of staff at the Co-op in Station Road in helping them with their fundraiser.

The tombola, cake and candy and grand raffle run at the store was a huge success.

Said Vi: "We would like to thank the Co-op in Cardenden and the staff for holding the fundraiser.

"At the raffle/tombola/cake and candy event they raised over £800 so what can we say but thanks again".

Added Vi: "Also thanks to all who handed in prizes for the tombola and cake and candy, and to Ian Somerville, our local friendly taxi man, who put up the prizes for the raffle, a patio set, large picnic basket and a bottle of Prosecco.

"One kindness deserves one back so here is Ian’s phone number if you need a taxi. Ian’s: Mini Coaches Luxury travel 07951510078.

"We are also indebted to Caroline Graham who made the T2TT cup cakes, they looked good and tasted good. She is listed at CG’s on Facebook if you would like to see more of what she does.

"Last but not lest to Margaret Somerville, the manager of the Co-op for pulling the fundraising event together and a big thanks to all the customers for taking part and putting their money to a local cause".

The money raised will be put to good use for T2TT, which gets good support from the people of the local communities in donating youngsters' clothing which can be distributed to families who badly need items for their kids.
