A CARDENDEN man broke the rules of his bail on the same day he was released on custody.
David Iredale said he needed to retrieve some supplies from his property.
The 49-year-old of Woodend Park, previously admitted that on April 8, at the same address, having been released from custody on the same day and being subject to the condition not to approach, contact or attempt to approach or contact a woman by any means and not to enter Woodend Park, did fail without reasonable excuse, to comply with the said condition in respect that he did enter that address and did attempt to contact the said woman.
Defence solicitor, David Mcloughlin, admitted his client had a bad record for this type of behaviour and knew the Court was limited to what they could do because Iredale is unable to do unpaid work.
However, Sheriff Craig McSherry sentenced him to a community payback order with 12 months supervision.
