THE Corrie Centre Groups' Christmas Party saw Lochgelly based entertainers Alex Lawson and Tam Muir treat those present to some excellent singing.

The Corrie management committee organised the event and also attending were local councillors Linda Erskine, Rosemary Liewald, Mary Lockhart and Lea McLelland.

A lovely three course meal was provided by Honor Anderson and her staff which was enjoyed by everyone present.

Providing the entertainment was Derek Muir on the accordion and Tam Muir and Alex Lawson, who provided a great afternoon's enjoyment singing some well known popular songs and they were warmly received.

A free raffle took place and the winners included Mary Fernie, Cath Reilly, Willie Duncan, Jessie Johnston and others.

Management committee chairman, Alex Burns, said: "It has been a magnificent event and I would like to thank Honor and her staff for the excellent meal and Derek, Tam and Alex for their tremendous entertainment.

"I would also like to thank our four councillors for coming along."
