TWO Cardenden men have appeared in court accused of committing violent attacks on two men and a woman at a pub.

It is alleged that two people were knocked unconscious during the incident.

In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court were Alexander Dickson, 54, and Stewart Dickson, 30, both of Cardenden.

They appeared in private facing charges over an alleged disturbance at the Central Bar, Station Road, Cardenden, on July 16.

It is alleged that while acting together they assaulted a man, challenged him to a fight, struggled with him whereby he fell to the ground, repeatedly punched and kicked him on the head and body and threatened to kill him, all to his severe injury.

It is also alleged that whilst acting together they assaulted a woman by repeatedly punching her on the head, causing her to fall to the ground and rendered her unconscious, all to her injury.

It is further alleged that whilst acting together they assaulted a second man, by punching him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground, rendering him unconscious and thereafter punched and kicked him on the head and body, all to his severe injury.

They made no plea and were committed for further examination. Both were granted bail.
