PRIMARY 3 from Cardenden St Ninian’s Primary School celebrated World Book Day with a theme of their own.

They have recently read The Boy in the Dress, by David Walliams, and they have been using the Elmer stories to highlight that everyone is unique and special in their own way. With that in mind their theme for the day was “Dare to be Different”.

The class were asked to come in wearing a variety of colours, patterns and items of clothing.

Every child dressed up for the occasion and they all looked great. Some even wore their clothes backwards and a few wore mismatched shoes!

The class had a great day, doing Elmer activities, taking part in a book quiz and celebrating how unique and special they all are!
