SITTING with his prize for being the Times' Bonniest Baby of 2016 is Carter Paterson.
Carter received a cheque for £300 for coming top of the list when the votes were counted for the competition in December.
Mum Kimberley said that Carter, who is coming up for his first birthday, is set to start at Noah's Ark Nursery, in Lochgelly, soon as she returns to work at the Nationwide Bank in Dunfermline.
While Kimberley and Carter live in Kirkcaldy they are part of a big Cardenden family.
She said: "He got some great backing from all parts of the family during the voting and we cannot thank them enough for the support.
"I am looking forward to returning to work and I know that Carter will have fun at Noah's Ark where his aunt works."
