MSP praises local Marie Curie fundraisers

KINGLASSIE MSP Jenny Gilruth met with members of the Marie Curie Glenrothes Fundraising Group to learn all about the vital work they do throughout the region.
The Marie Curie’s fundraising team, group members donate their time and effort to raise money to help care for people with terminal illnesses and their families.
Group spokeswoman, Janet Henry, revealed that last year alone more than £10,475 was raised in Fife and said people who donate from Glenrothes and surrounding areas are always "extremely generous".
Ms Gilruth said: "It was good to learn all about the work they do across my constituency for this very worthwhile cause."
