KINGLASSIE MSP, Jenny Gilruth, is urging constituents to keep an eye on their blood pressure.
The Stroke Association carried out blood pressure testing in The Scottish Parliament last week. High blood pressure is the main risk factor for stroke.
Jenny Gilruth, MSP for mid Fife and Glenrothes, is pictured getting her blood pressure tested with Angie Macleod from the Stroke Association.
Angie said: "1 in 6 of us will have a stroke, it is Scotland’s fourth biggest killer and leading cause of impairment and disability. Tackling stroke prevention is therefore vital."
Jenny Gilruth echoed Angie's comments and urged people to keep an eye on their BP.
