THE board of the now closed TransFife social enterprise, in Crosshill, has disbursed remaining funds belonging to them to various charities.
They have paid out some £9070 to many local groups.
These are, Age Scotland, Maggie’s Centre and CHAS’s Rachel House each receiving £2000; Fife Day Care £1000; BRAG £1100; and Lochore Old People’s Welfare Council £970.
The social enterprise had to close after losing a lucrative contract with NHS Fife.
