THE Benarty and Lochgelly Credit Union celebrates 25 years successful trading in 2015 and a special evening is planned for the annual general meeting on Monday 16th March.

The agm will go ahead at 6.30pm that night, at Benarty Centre, and to celebrate the 25th anniversary two special prize draws are to be held with £900 in prize money up for grabs.

Said the credit union’s Sharon Mackie, “It is an important year for us and we wanted to involve our members of all ages as much as possible in the agm process.

“Every senior member who attends the annual meeting will get a raffle ticket which allows them a chance to win one of three prizes we have up for grabs. The first prize is £300, the second £200 and the third £100, while every juvenile member we have will be automatically entered into a draw which has a top prize of £150, the runner-up £100, and the third prize is £50.

“We hope that as many senior members as possible come along and get involved.” The Benarty and Lochgelly CU is the biggest in Fife and has around 2500 senior members and there are also 700 juveniles so Monday 16th March will be a big night for the organisation.
