FORGET this cold winter weather, Benarty Tool Shed is getting ready for spring instead!
The venture, run at the Crosshill Centre by the Ecology Centre organisation, has a mountain of donated gardening tools in the community workshop, so if you need a new spade, fork or grass rake, then go along to the nice warm workshop and supervisors Mark or Robert will help you clean one up to take away with you.
Said Mark, “Once you have refurbished your chosen item, it is your’s to take away home for free. If you have your own gardening or DIY tools that need a bit of tlc then bring them along too.
“You will find a friendly and helpful welcome as well as a fully equipped workshop, which is free for anyone living in the Benarty area to use”.
