THERE was sad news on the local junior football scene this week with the loss of Ballingry Rovers.
The Ore Parkers’ financial problems came to a head at the weekend and manager Willie Garner informed the players on Monday night that the club would be unable to fulfill its fixture with Newtongrange Star this Saturday.
The club’s players are all available for other clubs to sign and already several have been contacted with a view to being snapped up.
