EVERYBODY enjoys a chip and despite tough competition from French fries nothing beats those served at a traditional chip shop. Barry’s Fish Bar, in Ballingry, has been dishing up a range of takeaway favourites to the local community for over 17 years and has just landed a top award for the “Best Chippy Chips” in Fife, after votes were cast during national Chip Week in February.
Chic Snedden, one of the owners at Barry’s Fish Bar said, “Chip Week was all about raising awareness of ‘chip shop chips’ and we are delighted to be recognised as serving up the Best Chippy Chips in Fife”. Barry’s Fish Bar is a family business and has won a number of accolades over the years including the Sea Fish Quality Award.
