GETTING mixed up with a Court date proved costly for one Lochore man this week.
Martin Davidson, 22, whose address on Court papers was given as Lochleven Road but his new address read out in Court was Waverley Place, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He had admitted that without reasonable excuse, he had failed to appear at a diet at the sheriff court on October 26 last year after being charged with various road traffic offences.
Solicitor, Sarah Meehan, said her client had got his dates mixed up.
She told the Court: "It is not a good explanation but it is an honest one."
Sheriff James MacDonald fined Davidson £200.
