THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection come from Tom Courts snr and Willie Anderson of Irvine, in Ayrshire.
Said Willie, who is a former Lochgelly man: "I have a number of these of photographs which show work on the preparation of the dereliction of the former Glencraig and Mary Collieries which eventually became the Meadows Country Park.
"These show the some of areas of the bings and ponds left behind by mining which became a lovely country park."
Tom Courts snr said: "This is a photo of the Hearts team of 1908/1909. My grandfather is seated in the front row middle with the ball at his feet John Courts.
"Archie Devine another Lochgelly man is in the back row extreme right. Hearts FC and Scotland legend, the great Bobby Walker, is in the back row second from left."
