A SPECIAL fundraiser is being held by a Lochgelly dance school for the cause launched by a Crosshill family to help Marguerite Henderson, who lost her arms and legs through Sepsis.

A grand variety show is being held later this month at the Lochgelly Centre Theatre.

Grandmother Marguerite sadly lost the limbs from a paper cut causing the Sepsis infection and her family are working hard to raise £80,000 to purchase bionic arms and an electric wheelchair.

Marguerite’s daughter and grand-daughter are members of the Zodiac School of Dance, Lochgelly's Citizen of the Year in 2017, and the school members have been doing their bit to help with the fundraising.

Said Zodiac's Stacey Gunn: "I’m putting on a variety charity show for one night at the Lochgelly Theatre on Wednesday May 23 at 7pm and all ticket money is being donated to the Marguerite fund.

"We are hoping for a fantastic evening and there will be some tremendous performances from a lot of young dancers."

Tickets are £10 and on sale NOW from Zodiac Dance Studios in, Main Street, Lochgelly, or by texting Stacey on 07792612157 or you can message the Zodiac School of Dance Facebook page.

Added Stacey: "It’ll be a great show with routines from the ZeeDC streetdance crews; Love 2 Dance School, The Dance Studio Dunfermline; Ava Hoggan from OnPointe; plus solo dancers Steven Blake, Darren Hamilton and Aaron Lee."

There will be a variety of singers and featuring will be Pamela Davie, Elaine Green, Courtney Bryson, Erin Robertson, Natalie Adamson, Vikki McGinnie, Heather Henderson, Stacey Gunn and Sian Adamson.

Added Stacey: "The MC for the evening will be Iain Leslie and it’s sure to be a great night for a great cause."
