THE staff of Crosshill Social Enterprise (Re-Employ) have turned to liquor, to help them through their daily chores.

Don’t worry however, there isn’t a tipsy worker in sight or evidence of anyone nursing a nasty hangover. That’s because Chastity No-Sin-Gin is totally alcohol free!

Re-Employ founder, Irene Donaldson, is delighted to announce an exciting new business partnership with Chastity Ltd.

The arrangement will see Re-Employ handle the companies bottling process including; sanitisation, labelling and unique packaging, from their Unit in BRAG Enterprise’s, Crosshill Business Centre.

The bottles will then be transported to Chastity’s new 7,500 square feet premises, in Kirkcaldy, where it will be filled with either Chastity or its Pink Gin cousin, Seduction.

Apart from being delicious both products are entirely alcohol free.

The project is the brainchild of entrepreneur brothers Kerr and Roddy Nicoll, who have high hopes for their product.

"We’ve done the research, developed a high-quality product and are ready to go to market," said Kerr (pictured centre).

"We have family links within Fife", he added, "and were keen to manufacture in the Kingdom. We will be recruiting up to 15 new employees soon.

"Roddy and I have been on the lookout for a noteworthy and energised, community based Social Enterprise, to help us with our bottling requirements and Re-Employ are the ideal partner".

Kerr and Roddy were blown away by what has been achieved by the Re-Employ staff, following the closure of the Cowdenbeath REMPLOY factory in Cuddyhouse.

The brothers have a well-established entrepreneurial pedigree. Their father is Watt Nicoll, the famous Scottish Folk Singer, Composer, Motivational Speaker and of course – Entrepreneur!

Re-Employ were keen to break into the packaging & distribution, fulfilment market and Chastity have provided them with a fantastic opportunity to do so.

Irene said that strapline, perfectly prepared by a perfectly imperfect workforce, symbolises the Social Enterprise’s ethos. Added Irene: "All our workers and volunteers are disabled and have multiple life-challenges, but they also have skills, dreams and aspirations.

"Working alongside Kerr and Roddy will once again prove that no individual is unemployable, and that Re-Employ are a force for the future."
