THE Formula 24 Fife team who meet up at BRAG, Crosshill, every Wednesday night have been successful in securing funding from the Ventient Westfield Benarty Community Fund. They received a cheque for £950 from Tony Crombie, a representative from the fund on Wednesday night.

Ann Moodie, Youth & Community Development Worker at BRAG said: "Also present and speaking to the group was Jacqui Morris, Communications Executive from Foundation Scotland who manage the fund on Ventient’s behalf. The group were pleased to show off their car builds and explain to Tony and Jacqui how the group started and and how they are now preparing for the new race season".

Bragin’ Fifers and Fife Lightnin’s first race of the season will take place at Grampion Transport Museum in Alford in June and this money will be a great support for the teams getting to and from the races and sustainability of the project.
