THIS week's Down Memory Lane collection comes from Drew Moffat, of Lochgelly, who found a Benarty Community Council calendar from 1992 which has some interesting pictures from the early part of the 20th century.
These include a shot of South Glencraig, with Hunter's Bar on the left, and Barclay's The Chemist on the right. Drew says this is the view from Glencraig towards Lochgelly.
Another shows Glencraig Colliery where approximately 800 miners were employed at it's peak.
The shop was situated at the end of the Pit Road and was busy with general shoppers and miners going too and from the colliery.
The other picture shows Glencraig Bridge looking towards North Glencraig from the bridge.
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in Down Memory Lane send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
