A 70-YEAR-OLD Ballingry man shouted and swore at his wife while holding a knife.
The incident led to Andrew Kirkwood, of Ballingry Road, appearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 21 at his home he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing whilst in possession of a knife and the offence was aggravated by involving the abuse of his partner.
The Court heard the couple were no longer living together and Kirkwood was trying to find a new permanent address.
Sheriff Derek Reekie said: “This is his second conviction for a matter of this nature.”
He called for reports and Kirkwood will be sentenced on January 10.
