AFTER the official Christmas lights switch-on on Thursday the next item on Benarty Events group calendar is the Santa parade on Friday December 8.
It leaves from Lochore Welfare Football Park at 5pm prompt, and will head up Main Street, Crosshill, up through Lochore and past Benarty Primary School and into Ballingry Crescent, then head on to Flockhouse Avenue and up to Benarty Centre.
Said the Events Group's Michael O'Hare: "At the community centre where there will be LIVE music from the fantastic Little Fix tribute band. "Also an Ice Rink and kids' rides. There will be Free Glow Sticks for the kids, Santa's Grotto photos with the Reindeers, Face Painting, a Magician, a Clown, Bouncy Castles and the Café will be open in the centre.
"The Ice Rink and Kids rides will cost only £1 the rest is all FREE. Go along with the kids and have a fantastic night".
Saturday 9th will see the Christmas Fayre held in the centre.
It will start at 11am and finish at 2pm and the Ice Rink & Kids Rides will also still be there. The Christmas Raffle will take place with the first prize £150; second £100 with hampers and various other prizes.
