THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures come from the collection of Ballingry man Alex Hunter.
These are from the days around 50 years ago when the work was in full swing to create Lochore Meadows Country Park.
The pictures show winter time with old pit buildings and a bing having a smattering of snow; and an earth scraping machine having a tough time of it surrounded by bings.
Also work on demolishing the pit buildings completed but still much to do, and a view of the success earth scraping machinery could achieve on the coal scarred ground.
