LOCHORE Meadows is now home to three new mobility scooters to help everyone enjoy the Country Park.
The equipment has been funded by Cowdenbeath Area Committee’s anti-poverty fund.
The park has a tremendous array paths which the scooters will open up to people whose mobility may be impaired.
Cllr Linda Erskine, convener of the Cowdenbeath Area Committee said: “We want to ensure Lochore Meadows is a great place for everyone to visit, whatever their ability.
"The Park has a network of accessible paths for use by mobility scooters, power chairs and adaptive bikes so this new equipment is a very welcome addition for our visitors to make use of.”
Aileen Davis, Chair of Forth and Tay Disabled Ramblers, recently visited Lochore Meadows and said: “We have had a long association with Lochore Meadows Country Park.
"These new scooters bring up to date the fleet of mobility equipment, enabling all disabled people to access the countryside.”
