COWDENBEATH MSP Annabelle Ewing has expressed her concern at news of a ground collapse in the back garden of a property in Ballingry.
Ms Ewing, who has contacted the Coal Authority seeking an urgent meeting about the incident in the Kirktoun area of the village, said today: "I am very concerned about this collapse and I have contacted the Coal Authority seeking an urgent meeting.
"I can only imagine the anxiety recent events must be causing the residents of Ballingry, particularly those folk who live in the immediate vicinity.
"I am anxious to ensure that the residents and the surrounding area - are being kept right up to date with any news, that their immediate needs are being catered for and that they are fully informed and involved in discussions and decisions about the future."
