BENARTY Events are proud to bring you an exciting new family music event, taking place at the stunning Lochore Meadows Country Park venue on Saturday August 19.

Rockore is expected to attract music fans young and old from across Fife and further afield.

Headliners, West Fife rock legends Nazareth, will be supported by tribute acts, The Complete Stone Roses and Definitely Oasis; Plus Up and coming local stars The Sunset Spirit

Rockore has been in the pipeline for a number of years and when it was brought to Benarty Events Group, this is an event which has captured the local community but more so the wider Fife community and further afield.

At the moment it is all everyone is talking about and the community can’t wait for it to come around.

Lochore Meadows Country Park is an amazing venue to hold such an event which will grow from year to year. The support from everyone has been overwhelming.

Rockore will of course be the first music festival type event held at the park, something that the Events GrouP and community are very proud of.

Michael O’Hare, of Benarty events said: “Since winning Kingdom FM Local Community Group of 2016, Dunfermline Press Community Champion award and a special recognition award from the community council, we have had a huge strive forward.

"The local community have become really involved with us and that has helped us bring Rockore from an idea on paper, to acts booked.

"Everywhere we go there is people stopping us to talk about it."

He added: "We are so excited about the event.

"The Benarty area is former coal mining community which for a long time had very little for the people of the four villages to look forward to.

"Benarty Events are striving to make a difference and bring about a change. We are committed that this is only the beginning of many new and continued events in the area.”

Rockore tickets can be purchased online from skiddle.com, the Rockore facebook page or any of the Benarty events team. Tickets are priced at £17.50 plus booking fee. Possibly one of the cheapest festivals in the country.

The full line up will include Nazareth, PorkPie, The Sunset Spirit, The Complete Stone Roses, Gentlemen Jackals, Paris Street Rebels, The Freeholds and Definitely Oasis.

Other attractions on the day will include Festival market stalls, local food vendors and licensed bar (ID Required).
