THE Benarty Food Bank received a very valuable donation thanks to the generosity of the Ballingry Celtic Supporters Club membership.
The Benarty based Celts fans raised £358, through the proceeds of a social night, and were delighted to hand it over to Stephen Nardone and Johnny Astel of the Crosshill Centre based Food Bank.
The food bank has been operating now for over two years and has ensured that many families are given appropriate help when needed.
Said the Food Bank's Stevie Nardone: "This a very generous gesture by the Supporters Club and will greatly help us maintain our service."
